The High Pyrenees Natural Park is the largest nature park of Catalonia and located a few kilometers north of the hotel. He spreads his territory over two counties: the Pallars Sobià and the Alt Urgell. This park includes the highest peaks of Catalonia.
The park is a paradise for hikers. The complicated terrain, extension, landscape diversity and the variety of existing altitudes gives way to a wide sample of geological structures, ecosystems, habitats, vegetables communities and different animal species.
Another of the main values of this area is its extensive archaeological and architectural heritage, mainly related to the Romanesque art.
