The nature park of the Cadi-Moixeró, located just minutes from El Castell de Ciutat, is the largest protected area of Catalonia. Its altitudes vary between 900 meters in the valleys and 2648 meters at the top of the Baridana Canal, the most prominent peak.
The type of rock, limestone, brings a surly relief. Its high mountain landscape, with lush forests and natural grasslands alternating with rocky limestone offers a wide variety of ecosystems. You can find numerous species of flora and fauna of great interest.
Besides the natural beauty that gives the rugged terrain, water and vegetation, we find places of undoubted cultural interest.
